Parades

Hi Everyone-
    This is a reminder that we have rehearsal for the holiday parades this
Thursday after school.  I had scheduled a tentative rehearsal for Monday
after school, but since the conference schedule is different this year, we
can't rehearse then anymore.  This will be a short rehearsal - we'll start
as soon after school as possible (eighth graders please get there when you
can).  We should be done no later than 3.  The earlier we start, the earlier
we finish.
    Since this is our only rehearsal, please make every effort to be there.
I know many of you (including myself) have dress rehearsal for "The Music
Man" Thursday night.  That's one of the reasons we want to get
started/finished as soon as possible.  Chorus people, it will be a chorus
day, so please come up as quickly as possible.  
    I will hand out a detailed schedule for the parades at this rehearsal.
For the time being, know that we have the South Berwick/Rollinsford parade
on Saturday, November 27th and the Dover parade on Sunday, November 28th.
Your commitment on Saturday will be from 2:15 until about 6:00, and Sunday
from 1:00 until about 5:00.  We dress at the school and take a bus to/from
both parades.
    If you can't make the rehearsal, but will be at the parades, I need to
know that ASAP.  If you can't make the parades for some reason, I should
know that already (but if you have neglected to tell me, please let me know
ASAP).  I open this parade up to non marching band members, but they don't
usually jump at this one (Memorial Day is a bit more popular because it's,
well, warm.).
