Hey everybody!
 
    I trust you're all enjoying your Summer.  Can you believe band camp is
less than three weeks away already?!?!?  It's creeping up fast!  Anyway, I
hope you've been able to visit the webpage to find out what's going on.
Band camp will start on Tuesday, August 24th.  Go to
http://www.marshwoodmusic.org/mb/bandcamp.html to find the full schedule.  
 
    NEW NEW NEW!!!  I've been playing around with new toys for the website.
There will be a lot more coming, but I would like to announce the new
MarshwoodMusic message forum!  This can be found at
http://www.marshwoodmusic.org/board - There isn't much there now because
it's NEW!  Please register and let's get some discussions going.  After you
register, you can change the skin (layout) for the board - there are a
couple of cool ones there that I think you might like.  Anyway, I think this
can become a great resource for students in the music department.  You'll
notice there are even forums for the classroom music classes, so students
can ask questions and get help.  I'm going to start a few polls and stuff to
get the ball rolling, but please feel free to start your own threads and
polls!
 
    If you need any more information, I'm sure you know you can check out
http://www.marshwoodmusic.org/  If you know of anyone who might be
interested in marching band, please have them contact me - email is the
best.  They can also fill out the info form at
http://www.marshwoodmusic.org/info.html  I'm planning to send a snail
mailing out soon with music and info about band camp.
 
    I'll talk to you all soon!  (Can't hurt to pull out your instrument and
practice a bit.)   Oh, I'm just kidding.  I know you've all been spending
ALL your extra time this Summer practicing as much as possible, right?  Of
course.  ;-)
